Duties and Responsibilities:
Supervise and conduct daily detailed inspection of guest rooms, public areas, back of the house and outside of the hotel to ensure compliance with THE DON HOTEL Brand Standards of Excellence, health/ sanitation standards and regulations.
Assist Executive Housekeeper in scheduling, training, empowerment, coaching and counseling of staff.
Maintain clear and efficient communication and coordination with the Front Office and Food & Beverage Departments.
Follow up on maintenance/ equipment issues with technician for simple and quick repairs.
Observes service behaviors of employees and participates in the employees’ performance appraisal process, giving feedback as needed to strive to improve service performance.
Empowers employees to provide excellent customer service within guidelines.
Monitor and perform inventories weekly / monthly to ensure enough guest supply, linen supply and uniform.
Coordinate and ensure that Room Linen/ terry, guest clothing and beddings are correctly processed and returned in a timely manner.
Minimum 2 years experience in hospitality service
Diploma in housekeeping management from a reputable institution
Strategic, planning, problem-solving and analytical skills
Team supervision experience
Strong leadership ability
Proficient in Microsoft Office, Xcel, Power-point and general computer skills
Excellent technical housekeeping knowledge
Managerial, Organizational and Training Skills
Excellent Communicational skills and Presentation
Good understanding of housekeeping financial management
Specialty knowledge in customer care
Strong interpersonal skills with customers/clients
